Our Staged Approach to Executive Coaching

All our Executive Coaching Programs are tailored to your requirements and desired outcomes.

In order to improve your performance and accelerate your professional development we follow a clear to by step process.

Stage One-Introductions & Commitment

During this phase we meet with you to determine if we are suited to each other and identify exactly what is required from coaching. At this stage we would also seek a formal commitment to the coaching process by completing some supporting information. This can be done either face to face or on the telephone.

Stage Two-Gather Information & Creation of Professional Development Plan

Next we find out about you and agree a ‘contract’ for the coaching relationship that will include clearly defined goals with desired successful outcomes from the coaching intervention. At this point we would also look to gain a commitment to stage three.

Stage Three – The Coaching Relationship

Now the actual coaching process begins and starts with by building a ‘safe’ coaching environment. The period of the coaching relationship will usually be six sessions with a month between each, and a mid-term review as to how the coaching relationship is working. This would usually be one to one, face to face although it can also be telephone or email sessions or a mixture. This will be agreed by the partnership. During the time between the meetings you will be required to ‘put into practice’ the agreed actions from the prior meeting.

Stage Four – The Exit Phase & Follow Up

During the final session there will be an agreed exit strategy explored with you to enable you to take ‘self sustain’ the coaching approach going forward. A final questionnaire will enable you to detail as to how the coaching relationship has worked for you together with a full review of the desired outcomes that we set at the start. A one-month follow up via email or telephone will also be offered to support progress after the coaching relationship.
